Your library loans

We will automatically renew all Trinity Library books on loan to you until Monday 14 June to avoid overdue notices.

Books on your account remain your responsibility. Please continue to check your account on SOLO to make sure the list of books on your account is accurate. Let us know if you have any queries so we can resolve them as soon as possible for you.

Opening hours and study spaces

The Lawns Pavilion Reading Room will reopen on Monday 19 April at 10am.

For Trinity Term we will be open from 8am - midnight daily.

If the Reading Room is fully occupied, don't panic! The Britton Room (the large function room on the left side of the Lawns Pavilion) has socially-distanced study spaces made available for your use.

Details of the Bodleian Libraries' desk availability and booking system are available.

Study space guidelines

  • It’s vital that you keep your seats 2m apart and wear your masks unless you’re exempt - no household group exceptions apply.
  • Please keep the windows open for ventilation. We can’t rely on warm British summer weather, but we can turn the heating up if necessary!
  • Desks should be cleaned with the wipes provided, and hand sanitizer is available for your use.
  • As usual, no food or alcohol is allowed, although you’re welcome to bring in non-alcoholic drinks in a lidded cup or bottle.
  • Remember that desks need to be cleared of all items when you leave the room to give everyone a fair chance of getting a seat. We’re no longer storing lost property, so if you want to leave study materials in the reading room, you can email to request a locker.

Click & Collect (Oxford residents)
