Access to St Antony's College Library is currently restricted.
However, efforts are being made to provide all members of the University with a remote library service. Readers are encouraged to use electronic materials wherever possible. St Antony's College Library staff are providing "click & collect" and "scan & deliver" services where e-resources are unavailable. Please don't hesitate to email lib.office@sant.ox.ac.uk for help!
Services provided by the Bodleian Libraries during the Covid-19 pandemic are detailed on the Bodleian's service updates webpage.
St Antony's College Library is open principally for current Fellows and students of the College.
Non-members*
Non-members who wish to consult items which are not available in the University's libraries are advised to contact the Library Staff for assistance.
Alumni*
Ordinarily, former members are very welcome to visit during office hours. Unfortunately, alumni are not permitted to borrow items or study within library reading rooms for prolonged periods unless they wish to consult unique or rare materials.
*Note, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, reading rooms are temporarily closed to those who are not current members of the University.
Readers with disabilities are encouraged to contact the Librarian to discuss their needs.
Unfortunately, the Library's main reading room and book stacks are not wheelchair accessible. However, alternative arrangements for collecting and returning books may be made; Library staff are happy to fetch items for those who cannot use / have difficulty using stairs.
Ergonomic equipment can be found near the issue desk in the main reading room.
