OxLibris: Welcome

Information about the OxLibris scheme for local Oxfordshire state school sixth form pupils.

2020 session bookings closed

We are unable to run the OxLibris sessions planned for 2020 due to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Instead, we have produced a range of resources designed to develop the study skills needed to complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) or other coursework. You can find these by the 'Study Skills' tab.

If you would like more information about the scheme please contact oxlibris@admin.ox.ac.uk.

OxLibris is a service run by University of Oxford librarians to help year 12 and 13 students with independent research for an EPQ or A Level coursework.

We know that this may be your first time doing academic research and it can feel really daunting. Don’t worry - we're here to help! This guide contains handy tips, and information about booking study sessions.

We don’t just want to help with your EPQ or coursework. The skills you develop during these projects will also be really useful if you start a degree, whatever university you’d like to go to, or for any career that involves research.

Oxfordshire state school students in year 12 and 13 can visit as a school group in July and September or book a place at an independent study session on a Thursday in August.
