Medical / Health Tourism

Sometimes used interchangeably - sometimes a distinction is made
Health Tourism - improved well-being via visiting eg via facilities/services provided in hotels; a leisure choice
Medical Tourism - necessitated because the individual feels let down by the medical services provided in their country eg when certain drugs are not available on prescription, and/or particular medical treatments, surgical interventions etc not available (or not available quickly).
These tourists intend to return to their home countries afterwards.
