The shelf mark will begin with the name or abbreviation of the country's name. On Level 1, one floor down from the entrance level of the Bodleian there is an alphabtical run of books on the laws of foreign countries. There is no subject arrangement.

Works on international economic law, world trade law, human rights have shelf marks beginning Internat, private international law Private Int. These are on Level 3.

Books with shelf marks beginning General are shelved on Level 2, the level at which you enter the Law Library
