Bodleian Libraries Enquiry Service: Making an Enquiry

The Enquiry Service provided by the Main Enquiry Desk team of the Bodleian Library with additional information about broader library services.

Main Enquiry Desk

The Main Enquiry Desk in the Lower Reading Room of the Bodleian Library is the first port of call for library users to ask questions and get help with a wide range of common issues, such as:

  • Finding your way around the library
  • Reading room information
  • Locating open shelf material
  • Using the online catalogue SOLO
  • Ordering 'Closed Stack' material
  • Directions/Maps to other Bodleian Libraries

If you need help or have a problem, let us know. If we can't immediately answer your question, we will always do our best to find out the answer and get back to you.
