Finding Journals and Conference Proceedings

Journals and Conference Proceedings

The Bodleian Libraries subscribe to a large range of journals and conference proceedings electronically. Search by title using SOLO or browse our e-journals using the Browzine website.

If an electronic version is not available, we may have it in print copy. Print copies of journals and conference proceedings are held in the closed stack at our Book Storage Facility in Swindon. They can be located and requested using SOLO.

Pre-prints and author manuscripts

Many academic institutions now collect peer-reviewed author manuscripts and pre-prints from their academics into digital repositories. This can provide easy open access to high quality scientific publications. You can find repositories and search their contents using the OpenDOAR directory.

TOC & Alerts

Want to be alerted about new journal issues and Tables of Contents?

Zetoc provides access to the British Library's Electronic Table of Contents of current journals and conference proceedings. You can search for citations of journal articles and conference proceedings; set up, modify, and delete email alerts; and set up RSS feeds for journals.

The Journal Tables of Contents service makes it easy for academics, researchers, and students to keep up-to-date with newly published scholarly material by enabling them to find, display, store, combine, and reuse thousands of journal tables of contents from multiple publishers.
