What do students need to do to join the library?

Complete a membership form and attend an induction.

What facilities are available?

Students may borrow six items at a time, all loans are either fourteen days or six weeks. 

A quiet study area is available at the rear of the library.  

Fines for overdue items are 25p per item per day. 

Other services available include access to Medical Masterclass, Clinical Key and UpToDate, electronic current awareness, support with literature searching (including User Guides and online video tutorials https://www.youtube.com/user/NHFTLibraries/videos).

Is there an Inter Library Loan Service?

No.

What computing facilities are available?

Public access PCs are available in the library, 24/7. The PCs use a generic login which will be given during the induction. 

Wireless access is available.

Currently there are no charges for photocopying, printing or scanning.
