Bodleian iSkills

                                                                   

Bodleian iskills workshops are a varied series of training courses which run throughout each term. Topics covered include:

  • Information discovery & searching for scholarly materials
  • Using Endnote, RefWorks, Zotero and Mendeley
  • Using the library catalogue.
  • Accessing e-books and journals.
  • Citations and Bibliometrics.
  • Tools for finding journals, maps, theses, conference proceedings and other types of documents.

IT Skills Training

The University of Oxford IT Services provide an extensive range of training courses. These include sessions on -

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office products
  • Using statistics packages
  • Programming and operating systems
  • Working with digital sound, images and multimedia

Many courses are available free of charge or include a small administration fee. Courses can be booked and managed on-line. IT services have a complete Course Catalogue.
