The Bodleian Latin American Centre Library holds the best MPhil thesis and the best MSc essay for each year of Latin American Centre students since 2014. Essays for the MSc Public Policy degree submitted between 1986 and 2009 are also available for consultation. They are not searchable via SOLO but a full list is available as PDF. The Bodleian Library is the main repository for Caribbean studies D. Phil theses. Contact the Library for comprehensive lists of theses from 1920 to 2000. Search SOLO, Oxford Libraries' catalogue, for more recent holdings from 1994 onwards.

Proquest's Dissertations and Theses (Global) is the most comprehensive source of doctoral theses from the UK, Ireland and other countries around the world with coverage from 1716 onwards.
The EThOS service from the British Library also contains information about UK theses and there is increasing availability of full-text downloads, which are available once a library or individual has paid for digitization.
RIAN is a portal of open access research publications from seven Irish university libraries. Searches can be filtered to masters' and doctoral theses.
