UpToDate - CME/CE/CPD

The OUH Trust's subscription to UpToDate expired on Sunday 31st July 2022.

You will need to have transferred your CME activity from UpToDate before this date or you will have lost access to it.

To do this, log in to UpToDate, click on the CME tab in the top right corner of the page (next to 'Log Out') and select CME History from the menu on the left (or click on the blue 'History' link). From here you can view, download, and print past CME certificates and activity logs as needed.

Access

UpToDate is available via an individual username and password. Once registered, you will have access from any web browser and on up to two mobile devices using the UpToDate Anywhere app.

To sign up:

  • Go to the OUH intranet home page from an OUH computer (or Citrix virtual desktop);
  • Click on UpToDate from the link on the bottom right hand side of the page in the “Clinical Resources” section.
  • Click on the “Login/Register” tab in the upper right hand corner of the UpToDate page.
  • If you already have an account with UpToDate, then log in using your existing credentials.
  • To create a new account, please register as a new user and create your username and password.

UpToDate Anywhere app

You can download the mobile app on up to two devices:

  • Go to your App Store on your device and download the free UpToDate Mobile App.
  • Once it has downloaded, please use the UpToDate username and password you created during the registration process to log in.

90 day verification

You need to verify affiliation with the OUH to maintain mobile and remote access. You must verify every 90 days by logging into UpToDate through the OUH Intranet from any computer that is connected to the OUH network. UTD will alert you when you need to reverify. If you fail to re-verify by Day 90, you will lose mobile and remote access. To regain access, please complete the re-verification process outlined above.
