The Research Councils of UKRI (formerly RCUK) expect , as stated in Condition 15 of Training Grants, that "In the case of Ph.D. theses funded by Research Councils, metadata describing the thesis should be lodged in the institution's repository as soon as possible after award and a fulltext version should be available within a maximum of 12 months following award."
Please check the policy conditions if you are in receipt of a funding grant and advise us as to whether the correct embargo length has been attributed to your work, you may wish to discuss this with your department graduate studies contact or Subject Librarian.
Further information, including previous guidance, can be found here:

If we do not hear differently from you the one year embargo will be implemented and your thesis file will be released into the public domain via ORA after this period has lapsed.
If you are in receipt of funding please ensure you have provided ORA with the funding body name and grant numbers.
Alternatively you may wish to make your thesis file available immediately, waiving an embargo period to your work.
