Publication projects exist to compile and publish the papers of many US presidents. The VHL's holdings can be found by searching for the name of the president and 'papers' in SOLO.
The VHL also holds some papers on microfilm: Adams Family, James Buchanan.
Transcripts and MP3 audio clips of recorded meetings or telephone conversations of six US Presidents: Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon. Transcripts are regularly added to the site.

Reports are the official communications of the House and Senate Committees to the full House and Senate, and are usually linked to legislation. Documents include a variety of publications less closely linked to legislation such as reports from the Executive Branch and other agencies, Congress's rules of operation, ceremonial reports and other material from outside the Federal Government which is of use to Congress.
