Using the combined printer/copier/scanner

How to print

Log in with your username and password at one of the library PCs.  Access the file you want to print from your email or a USB drive.  Send the file to print on 'Library Photocopier'.

Alternatively, Web Print allows you to print to the Library Photocopier from your personal device. To use the service, go to https://print.st-hughs.ox.ac.uk  from your personal device, sign in using your Single Sign On, choose the Library Photocopier to print to, and upload your document(s).

At the copier, place your University card on the reader to the right of the screen and the file(s) you have sent to print will appear on the copier screen.  You can then Delete any files you no longer wish to print, Print a specific file or choose Print All.

How to copy

At the copier, place your University card on the reader to the right of the screen. Tap “Use Device Functions” on touch screen and  press the 'Copy' button.  You are now ready to copy.  Use the options on the copier to choose single-/double-sided, monochrome/colour, zoom etc.

How to scan

Press the 'Scan' button and choose 'Scan folder'.  You are now ready to scan.  Use the options on the copier to choose single-/double-sided, monochrome/colour, zoom etc.

Your file will save to a public folder called 'Scan Folders', which you can access via a desktop shortcut on the library PCs.  Once you have found your file in this folder, save it to a USB drive or email it to yourself, and delete the public file in 'Scan Folders'.

Change default print settings

The default print settings are monochrome and duplex (double-sided) as these are the least expensive.  If you would like to print on one side only, or in colour, follow these steps:

Print single-sided

File > Print > Printer Properties > change Duplex from "open to left" to "off" for single-sided printing

Print in colour

File > Printer > Printer Properties > Color / Black and White - to adjust monochrome/colour printing
