New Zealand law quick start
The Bodleian Law Library's collection of printed materials on New Zealand law (legislation, cases, journals and texts) is shelved in the main Reading Room.
Shelfmarks start Cw New Z. (Cw indicates membership of The Commonwealth.)
Members of Oxford University can also use the following electronic databases; at the end of the list are reliable, freely available sources for NZ law which are available for anyone with internet access.
- Lexis®Library OU members only. To find what NZ resources Lexis offers click the Sources tab on the home page. Includes law reports, The Laws of NZ and Butterworths Current NZ law.
- Westlaw UKOU members only. From home page click on Services (in the blue band top right of home page), then Westlaw International. Gives full text access to some NZ law journals.
- HeinOnline OU members only. Has NZ elements in International & Non-US Law Journals Library and Constitutions of the World Illustrated.
- New Zealand LegislationFree resource. Searchable database of acts, bills and regulations. Dates of consolidation clearly given, and links to historic versions.
