The Radcliffe Science Library

The Radcliffe Science Library (RSL) is the main science research library at the university and is part of the Bodleian Libraries at Oxford.

This guide will provide you with information about resources available through the Bodleian Libraries to help support learning, teaching, and research in Engineering Science. Each tab is devoted to particular types of resources or tools. Click on one to find out more.

Consultation service for all Engineering students and research staff
Please contact Alessandra at if you would like to arrange a bespoke session tailored to your needs.  Sessions are for individuals or small research groups and can be held at the RSL or at the Engineering Department.
Session topics include:

  • In-depth literature searching
  • Organising your references
  • Publishing open access
  • Measuring the impact of research
  • Keeping up-to-date with latest publications
  • Knowing more about RSL services such as VR and 3D printing
