History Faculty Library: a short guide: Information for disabled readers

Access

The Bodleian History Faculty Library is located in the Radcliffe Camera and Gladstone Link on the Bodleian Library site.  For more information about accessing the main Bodleian reading rooms, please visit the Bodleian Library website.

Book fetches & copying

Staff are happy to help by bringing books to the Lower Reading Room in the Old Bodleian Library for readers who are unable to use the stairs.

Alternatively, contact the Library (library.history@bodleian.ox.ac.uk, 01865 (2)77262) and ask to have books set aside for later collection by a helper.

Equipment

For detailed information about the equipment available in each reading room, please visit the Bodleian Library website.
Most rooms have fixed and/or portable hearing loops, daylight lamps, magnifiers and coloured acetate sheets.

Tailored user education and induction sessions  Tailored one to one user education and induction sessions can be arranged if needed.
